i use google reader to keep track of when my favorite bloggers have posted new blogs
i am actually subscribed to my own blogs as well
not because i can't remember if i have posted or not, although my memory is almost that bad,
but because i was curious as to how many people 'subscribe' to my blog
according to google reader there are 67 of you
add to that the 7 that are subscribed in bloglines
and then the 32 who follow along in blogger
and we're looking at 106 people
i wonder though how many actually read regularly
i know i subscribe to lots of blogs and i don't always read all of them
and i don't always comment either
there are some blogs that i read that i never comment on
lots of them are cooking blogs and i just scroll through the titles til one grabs my interest
same with the crafty blogs i subscribe to
and the photography blogs
i have blogs that i read daily as well ... obviously my favorite ones
i should do a post to share them with you
anyhoo ...
i thought i'd do a little experiment
if you subscribe to this blog in any way, would you leave a quick comment and let me know how
I wonder if i can come anywhere close to finding out who all 106 of you are !!
ps ... i've been busy organizing
i'll be showing you my pantry overhaul this week
and i'm hoping to get the kids toy room done too
oh ... and we hung my painting (!!!)
i can't wait to show you
and we got some new furniture
it's all happening in the decorating department !
i'll post on that this week as well

I have you in my favorites, and check you out that way. I don't know why I do it that way, because I also have a blog. It gets a lot of hits, but hardly any new followers. Hmmm, why is that?
I'm a follower. That's how I know when you've done a new post. I just added the follower thing to my page about a week ago. I'd been a holdout on it but finally gave in and put it on the sidebar. I don't really know how to even tell if people are subscribed in google reader. That's so over my head.

Okay, here's how dense I am - I don't have a clue what google reader does or how to do anything with it...and I consider myself "fairly" computer savvy. I just have you on my sidebar and click on you when I see you've updated. That has to count for something doesn't it? :)

I'm not sure how you 'saw' how many subscribe to you. I'd like to know that about mine too.
The only thing I don't like about GR is that I can not keep up to date with all my subscriptions, so I get behind! And I HATE getting behind on my favourite blogs :(

I use Google reader ... Right now I suscribe to 93 sites and like you; some of them I always read and some I check the headlines and only read if it catches my attention!
When I have been away from my reader for more than a day it can be quite a task to go trough all of them - if I am not tough and just mark all as read:-)
I have you in my Google Reader and go through the new posts each day...although I have to admit to being taken in by the eye-candy more than the words! I'm not sure how many blogs I regularly peruse...but it's so much better than buying magazines!!
I rarely comment unless I think I can contribute usefully....

Woohoo... I'm comment number 20!! I read you all the time... but I'm a lax commenter... well, that's not actually true, I always comment, but since you can't read my mind, it doesn't do us any good.
I actually just started using Google Reader today so I just added you. I didn't think about adding my own blog- very smart! I was wondering the same thing!

It's funny. I'm not subscribed or following or hav a link but I love your blog. I'm looking at it almost daily because I love the photo of you that comes when you comment and alway link over via those. THEN I love your posts. So in a round about way I try to never miss. Now I'll add to my reader and be certain to catch it all. AND I'll leave notes because I myself am trying to get more followers and more commenters. Cheers!

I am a quite new follower - just found you a few days ago, and follow on Google Reader.
I'm brand new subscriber...and a new blogger too. I read on blogger, but I may need to figure out that google reader thing too.
I'm in an organizing mode right now...so I'm sure I'll be back plenty for inspiration.
I'm pretty sure I'm subscribed both with blogger and with google reader and I find myself going back and forth between the two. . .
I definitely read many, many more blog entries than I comment on. . .
