I love flames. and the warmth of a fire.
I'd love a fireplace, but alas, I must settle for candles.

Candles are always beautiful fire.
I love our fireplace in the wintertime!
I'd love to have a fireplace too. Maybe one day, who knows...?
But candlelight is beautiful too!
I loved flames too, used to light candles all the time. Now that I live in the tropics, not so much. I think there is a subtle unconscious need for balance. Now I seek water. Interesting, just realized this after reading your post. Happy Wednesday!

Fireplaces are expensive to run and messy. Candles much better!

I love an open fire too, and candles - they always give such a lovely atmosphere to a room.
if you're in for contemporary, even mobile fire places...: a friend of mine makes make do chimney breasts, totally removable. just a chimney graphic cut out on a sort of fire place kind of box, containing the inevitable chimney shelf space, to put things on, like candles, e.g.
it looks modern, and above all whimsical! also fire proof...

Beautiful capture of a burning candle. I featured that aspect of fire as well. Our fireplace does not work, so I use candles also.
