We have them EVERYWHERE!
Yes ... I have them in Málaga and I can't help "screaming" when I see them. They move so fast!
they freak me out a little...
I hate them! We have so many here and they totally freak me out!
Here in Germany we don't have them. I remember when I was in Australia that one time I completely freaked. There was a whitish looking gecko sticking to the wall and it had black eyes. I did not know that there are geckos around and it looked like a plastic childrens' toy - so I thought somebody stuck it there for fun. I almost screamed when it suddenly moved! :-)

I forgot ! No gecko in France ;)
We had them in Louisiana. They'd even get in our house sometimes. I'd put a glass over them and then slide a piece of thick paper or cardboard under it to get them back outside safely.
