do you think this bird can actually see a reflection ?
as i was getting in my car the other day, i noticed it on the car beside me.
it kept flying back over and over and peeking in the mirror.
too funny.
i'm finding some great secrets in my journey through the corner views this week !

The bird is funny, as long as he isn't running inTO the mirror and breaking it, like some certain geese around these parts!
Since we love to watch birds so much, what kind of bird is that. I think maybe not one around here? I admit I'm too lazy to go downstairs and get the bird book, but it's possible it's only a North American bird book as well (as all ten or so of them are).
Another funny thing...I just did a post probably about the same time as you about birds too...just really different ones than this, and they were ones that I just happened to see when I was out driving and I snapped pictures.

I think birds can see themselves in the mirror.
'cause quite often mirrors are put in bird cages, especially if they're the only bird in there. That way they don't feel so lonely!!
At least that's my opinion.
