Sharing Paint ... and not much else
I've been asked recently how my painting is progressing, so I thought I'd post a photo.
This is my first painting ever. Started it in March. I work on it once a week.
Rory thinks it should be finished by now !
Little does he know what goes into a painting. Little did I know before I started !
One day I'd like to share a few life lessons that I've learned from painting
but that day is not today.
It's Friday, and that means I've got pizza to make and movies to watch !

I've been wondering how it was going. It looks great. I love all the details you've added!
wow, it looks incredible! I have been curious to see it- thanks for showing us the transformation!
Good morning! First off, I wanted to thank you for coming to "visit" me at my new blog and leaving a sweet comment. I appreciate it.
Secondly, what a beautiful painting! You are a very talented woman. By reading through your blog this morning, I can see you are an artist in many ways. And I agree with the C. S. Lewis quote from a few posts ago about loving our neighbor. So true!
Many sweet blessings!
Hi, Thank you for visiting my blog. I love this picture. I wouldn't have thought it was your first one! I enjoyed browsing your blog. I'll be back.
You have really added a lot since I saw this way back when? It is getting more interesting all the time. I like the details that are going on! Good Job!
Oh Bonnie, I remember when you first started it.....it's just gorgeous. You are very talented.
Wow!!! I'm very impressed!
Hip-Hip-Horray!! Finally, I see the painting again...
Wow! Bonnie, it's looking very textural.
I think my favourite parts being the shades (track marks) in the street and the indented (blue) doors.
I'm curious, will you be adding anything to the orange-square-like-spot that is above the door on the right-side?
Magnifique!
Demara ... yep, that orange spot is not going to stay like that ... it's just not finished yet. :)
Thanks everyone for your kind compliments ! I'm really excited about this painting !! I'm glad ya'll like it too ...
It is coming along beautifully! My aunt has painted on and off for years and it has been very cathartic for her. :)
