A Chance Meeting
I was standing in our garden this afternoon, taking photos of our Camellia's that are blooming so beautifully. All of a sudden, this little fella is in the tree not far from the plant, or me! I quickly adjusted my settings and took a few shots. These two are my favorite !
* These are unedited. Although, I'd like to edit that little bit of bark out of the corner of the second photo ..... maybe I will. One day.

So cool. What is it? The front view looks hawkish... but the side view looks like a more normal backyard bird. Either way, it's very pretty.

I like the bark! Otherwise, I'm not sure that I would believe these were real pictures because the detail is so perfect.
