Water Lily

I have no idea what this bug is ...

to me it looks like a cross between a grasshopper and a spider.

I didn't get too close ...

I'm not often able to get close enough to water lilies to get good shots.
I find, often, they are out in the middle of little lakes and my 'zoom' isn't that far reaching.
But, the other day, there were some right on the edge !



And it was wonderful !
